Chloë Rideout is a residential interior designer based in the historic Boston neighborhood of Charlestown.

Chloë Rideout Interiors was born from a love of creating beautiful and timeless spaces, that above all feel comfortable for those who dwell within. It is no secret that renovation projects can be stressful, but her years of experience in the residential design field help make the construction process easier for her clients. Her goal is to blend aesthetic artistry with careful planning and collaboration between all parties. Whether it is coming up with a built-in design for a growing family’s functional storage needs, finding the middle-ground between two loved one’s style, or problem solving at the job site with contractors, she strives to make the project run as smoothly as possible, with a smile on her face. A beautiful result is only part of the journey!

Chloë grew up on the coast in Gloucester and graduated from McGill University’s School of Architecture. She spent the next 8 years working alongside principal Mathew Cummings and a talented team at Cummings Architecture & Interiors in Ipswich, helping to grow the firm into a thriving company and designing the interiors of dozens of homes throughout that time. She has been featured on This Old House, the pages of Northshore Home Magazine, HGTV, and is a multi-year national winner of the Qualified Remodeler Master Design Awards for residential design.

A lover of old homes, from the historic properties she has had the pleasure of working on, to the 1835 Charlestown row-house she and her husband purchased, Chloë has always been fascinated by the age of a place and the histories of its residents. European cobblestone streets, restored castles, rugged farmhouses... all dwellings tell stories. While she loves planning her and her husband Joe’s next trip, their latest adventure has been becoming parents and welcoming their new baby girl to their Charlestown home.
